Design Solutions

The client kindly provided us with a wireframe that showcases the functionality they want to have, company logo and color scheme. Having those inputs we had enough to create a concept based on the dashboard screen. Regardless of the user type, logging in to the application takes you to the dashboard screen, presented as a kanban board of a task pipeline.

Streamlined Onboarding Process

Wether you are a contractor or a home owner, one of two main user categories that the app aims to connect, you are a few clicks from getting in.

App Tour

After getting in, you meet an app tour, which is a part of the onboarding that helps you get familiarized with the app's functionality and get started really easily. One of the app tour steps requires you to provide details and verify identity in order to become a platform member, contractors additionally provide sertifications relevant to their field of service.

Project - Overview

As a homeowner, posting a job, you want to make sure that things are clear and you can get a good overview of the progress. The main project metrics - duration, progress, budget are focused atop of the project overview, underneathe you can see details on the progress. Chat widget lets you connect with your contractor/customer for a quick check up.

Project - Activity

The activity tab is designer to provide a detailed overview on what's been done and yet needs attention. Each of the phases that needs review or funding is clickable and provides all details.

Project - Transactions

Budgeting for the home owner is as important as for the contractor to get his timely payments, in this tab you can have a detailed overview of those and perform financial transactions.

Creating a new project should not be a daunting task. After creating your project - provide a description, as detailed as you want it, set the budget, milestones and prepare for a professional to apply. Also, if you are an advanced user on the marketplace, and have your favorite contractors, you can easily invite them to have a look at your project and apply.
